Just a quick post today to say that I’ve finished my little collection of seasonal sweaters which is now available if you fancy making any extra clothes for your little cotton rabbits.
The pattern has 20 pages (with each design in it’s own section so you can print out one rather than the whole thing if you prefer) and contains a range of sweater designs from easy to more challenging knits. There is a Fair-Isle design sweater, a cabled sweater and a reversible top-down cardigan/button back sweater. There are also 3 different styles of simple sweater which can be customised by choosing from eight seasonal designs worked in duplicate stitch. I’ll be writing a proper post with tips for duplicate stitch very soon (it sounds a daunting technique but is really very simple).

The pattern is available on Etsy and on Ravelry if you were interested in giving it a go.
Right I’m off to make some duplicate stitch samples for a photo shoot and will pop back next week with those tips. Thanks for stopping by, enjoy what’s left of your week x
They are so beautiful Julie, I wouldn’t mind them in adult sizes too! 🙂
Right I’m off to buy!!
Enjoy the rest of your week too.

Holy cow, I’m not even able to knit a simple scarf and you can make those lovely little cardigans! Definitely have to work on my marginally small knitting skills! Really love your blog, by the way! I’m still new to this whole actively blogging thing (I was just a reader until a few weeks ago). So if you’d like you can visit me in my new blogging place. I’d love for you to step by!
Greetings from Austria,

I can see some great matching outfits for my little knitted friends! Thanks so much for your beautiful patterns. Your patterns inspire me and as I tell my husband…they just make me happy! Summer break has just started, here in Canada, and I too am facing the challenge of keeping my special needs son (as well as keeping track of my other two sons:-)) stimulated, engaged…and safe. My knitting will be my escape as I create little adorable friends. Thanks so much!

They are amazing. You are so clever, the designs are so wonderful. I have knit a wee girl rabbit but now I will have to knit another rabbit and the sweaters!! My daughter is expecting our first grandchild and she has requested a rabbit for the baby. She will really love the sweaters. I better get knitting. The baby is a Christmas baby so maybe I could do something that sorta matches for the baby and bunny, I don’t know. Humm!! You are a genius. Thank you for sharing with us!! Happy summer, I’m off to buy the patterns!!

Thank you so much Julie for yet more amazing and adorable patterns. The little sweaters are superb. I continue to marvel at your artistry. I am visiting my grandchildren and brought a suitcase full of yarn and your patterns so I can keep knitting your delightful little animals all summer long. I never get tired or bored knitting them and thinking of different yarns and color combinations to try out. It will be LCR sweater knitting today for sure! Off to Etsy I go to buy the pattern. Cheers!

These are so cute! They make my heart beat faster!! Some of the sweaters look like they were meant for girl bunnies. Julie, I was wondering how you would make the girl rabbits wear them? What bottoms would they wear? Just the tights?

Hi Kathleen
I always love your knitted teddy bears wearing such lovely clothes all from Little Cotton Rabbits. I now bought 3 patterns by Little Cotton Rabbits, – Boy Bear, Trio of Top Down Sweaters and Dungarees, all from Ravelry. As I have a massive amount of dk wool, I am planning in doing a bear similar to your Maverick bear which you did some time ago, all with dk wool. As I have no other means of contacting you, I used this link.
Looking forward to hearing from you.
