In print

Thanks so much for all of the feedback on the pouch pattern. I've drawn the two winners and have posted the details at the end of the previous post. As promised I am planning another little giveaway (of a knitted animal) to celebrate the start of my 7th year of blogging but I've not quite finished the batch that I'm working on, so they're not quite ready for their close-ups yet.

Waiting

I'm really hoping to finish them next week, so I'll post about the giveaway then.

In the meantime I am sitting here feeling rather happy because I have the latest copy of Crafts Beautiful next to my cup of tea and it has a feature about my knitting in it (thanks to Natalie for the lovely write up). It's the Christmas special issue and it's full of great ideas and some fab freebies too, so I'm off to have a read in the last hour of peace before the start of a busy weekend.

Crafts beautiful

Hope you have a great weekend, see you next week with news of that giveaway.

  5. Our baby girl is due any day now, and one of your precious animals would be so sweet for her nursery – I’d love to win! Thanks for doing a giveaway. I’ll definitely keep checking back….
I never comment, but I do love your blog and all the adorable things you knit. You inspire me to get knitting again when it’s been too long since I’ve picked up those needles 🙂

  6. The volume of animals you can produce at a time staggers me — and each one so unique and adorable. Of course now that you’ve been featured in the magazine you know you’ll be swamped with folks wanting your bunnies — congrats on getting the recognition you deserve!

  7. Dear Julie,
I have been searching for a bunny pattern. My future daughter-in-law has requested that I make bunnies for use as centerpieces at their April 2013 wedding in Cambridge. The bunnies on the shelf in the photo look like they would be just right. Is this pattern available for purchase?
Thank you very much for your assistance.

  9. Congratulations on being in print again! Loved the little bunny heads on the shelves in the magazine’s photo…spent ages wondering which legs went with which heads. (yes I have got stuff to do..but on a Sunday afternoon it’s much more fun to speculate on rabbits than settle to anything else!!) Take care…Jx

  12. Julie:
I finally learned how to knit in rounds. I am wondering if the mini stocking pattern you have featured in the FREE Knitting Pattern section will work if I use the same number of stitches for the round? Should I modify? Your assistance is appreciated. Thanks.

  15. It’s a mark of your skills that even diembodied leags make me (and lots of others) smil. As the very lucky owner of a cotton rabbit (one of my treasured possesions in pride of place in my sewing room) I am in awe of the quality of knitting, finishing and character that you create in your rabbits. Obviously sales of this magazine will rise immeasurably this month. I have to seek it out! Congratulations and much love
