There’s a sense of expectation in our little garden. A ripening, quickening sort of a feeling.
Everything is green and lush after the deluge of recent rain and there are little fat buds, swelling fruits and new shoots all ready to do their thing!
Amy and I planted some strawberries and tomatoes back in spring and it looks like we’ll have a few fruits of our labour, though it will be just a few – only 2 tomatoes so far!
Proof I suppose that I have woolly fingers as opposed to green ones!
Enjoy your weekend!

Lovely pictures! The white agapanthus is beautiful.

This seems a bit odd to me. I just posted our pictures of the recent snow fall! I am looking forward to my agapanthus having buds worth photographing on them! I hope you enjoy the warmth and the sunshine. Jen

Wow grapes – I’ve just planted our first grape vine earlier this year – with the idea of growing the plant for the leaves to make Dolmades. If we eventually get grapes, too this would be a bonus.

Good luck with the strawbs and toms – there’s nothing better than picking a fresh ripe strawberry that’s been warmed in the sunshine – thats if my boy doesn’t get to them first!
