Bunnies now at Mahar Drygoods

I mentioned a few posts ago that I’d proudly sent off some bunnies to Robert Mahar at Mahar Drygoods. I had a lovely surprise this morning when Zoe emailed me to say that she’d spotted them in his wonderful shop. He’s photographed them so nicely, given them lovely names and has written up the cutest haiku poems about each one. If you’re not busy, stop by for a look.

13th March UPDATE: thanks to everyone who stopped by for a look and to those of you who bought one of the bunnies – the bunnies are now sold out at Mahar Drygoods!

Shop is up but empty!

Thanks to everyone who stopped by the shop this evening. I’m afraid everything sold out pretty quickly but there are more in production as we speak. If you’d like to be added to my advance mailing list please drop me an email, otherwise please watch this space, there will be a few bunny egg cosies and some cakes along shortly and more toys in a few weeks. Thanks again for your interest in my work and all the lovely, encouraging and uplifting comments that you leave me – it means a great deal. Sleep well all, I’m off to my bed!

Sunshine

Today I am reminded of a song by John Denver (a favourite of my Dad’s when I was growing up).

Sunshine on my shoulders makes me happy
Sunshine in my eyes can make me cry
Sunshine on the water looks so lovely
Sunshine almost always makes me high

And it does, doesn’t it? A little bit of sunshine goes a long way to brightening up a day.It looks especially nice on the old plum tree which is now covered in blossom.
