Next week it’s the half term break here so Toby will be the centre of my attention, but this week I’ve been free to have fun playing with some of my knitted friends and making scenes to share. When I was small I loved little things and I still do – I seem to have acquired quite a collection of small props (mostly from Maileg) and it’s been lovely to get them out and take these pictures to show some of the newest patterns (the removable shoes, the sundress supplement/camisole top and the bags).
I hope you enjoy these pictures as much as I have enjoyed making them 🙂
I just found your website and enjoy it what a wonderful thing you’re doing with yarn…my mother and grandmother knitted, tatted, and crocheted…I have tried crochet but the other two are not my thing but I do quilt….it is wonderful seeing all the little items you have added..the shoes, bags etc ….have a wonderful day, week, month, and of course. Year!!!!!!!!!!!!

That is absolutely wonderful. I love the colour scheme of pale pink with gorgeous natural hues. And the little accessories, especially the baguette bag and the basket. The props are great too, those baguettes! I hope your week goes smoothly and that you and Toby manage some good walks in the woods. CJ xx

Thank you for a lovely read! I can’t say enough that this is an addiction far less harmfull then drinking or smoking 🙂
But it is challenging to ignore the call of all the yarn that is through my house and to use your magic to turn it into the little cotton animals!

I’ve been following along on Instagram and your pictures are adorable. I just made three of your little mini-bears for Halloween, and I’d like to make bigger animals for Christmas. (When I visited the grandbabies last night, the 2 year old was clutching the other minis plus her big bunny I’d made her — be still my Grammy heart!)My problem is that I can’t decide what animals to make! I think I’ll reserve bunnies for easter, so … bears? mice? kitties? LIONS??? It’s a terrible first-world problem — Thank You!!! XO

Adorable scenes. I love the bunnies in the pink tones! Simply gorgeous! Is the smaller bunny the 7inch size? I hope half term has been enjoyable so far despite the rain and you’ve still managed some nice walks with Toby.

How absolutely adorable! I’ve been eyeing a dollhouse from Maileg for quite some time. Do you think it’s weird for a middle aged woman to want a little house for stuffed mice?? Maybe it is but if that’s weird, I don’t want to be normal! Lol! Hope you all have a wonderful school break.
