Happy Easter

Field of flowers

Just popping in quickly to wish you all a very happy Easter weekend.

It really feels like the start of spring here with blooms and blossoms popping up everywhere. It feels good to be heading back to the long bright days of summer and thoughts are turning to what to grow in my little vegetable garden this year.

New season growing

White anemone

Fluffy catkins

There's lots of knitting going on too but nothing yet ready to show. I know it's taking ages for me to get this next pattern out, there have been lots of distractions recently with more paperwork and meetings to do with Toby but it is being worked on and I will keep the blog here up to date with any news. Thanks for being patient with me 🙂

Enjoy your Easter weekend x

  1. Oh my goodness! Spring really is where you live! I am snow covered with a thick ice coating making everything a winter wonderland. Little sprouts are buried now after they so bravely popped out their little heads. We even have thunder & tornado warnings….your pics provide some visual hope! Happy Easter!

  3. Happy Easter to you and your loved ones, Julie. We just had a major ice storm here yesterday with branches down and hydro lines out – lots of power outages! Amidst it all, you could hear the robins sing so I know Spring is on its way. Thank you for the lovely photos!!!!! They remind me of what’s to come.

  8. I love the writing on the seed packets. I am hoping that when spring comes around I will be prepared to plant some nice vegies to eat during summer time. I cannot wait to see what new pattern will be popping up too!

  12. Happy Easter to you and your family Julie….after all these years I’ve finally made a Little Cotton Rabbit from the piebald pattern…and he’s gorgeous! Your pattern was really easy to follow…thank you!….he has dark linen trousers and a soft blue and cream striped shirt…needless to say his name is George! So enjoyed making him, and he sits in pride of place on top of the work basket!…wonder if he needs a companion?……Hmmmn…..
