seasons greetings

Well, we're in the last few days before the school Christmas holidays start so I wanted to wish you all happy holidays before I disappear for a week or so. Our tree will go up once the children are home from the last school day and then we'll start our celebrations. I hope that you all have a very merry week whatever you are celebrating and a happy start to the new year.

Amy helped me put together this little video – she has provided the lovely singing on the backing track.

Keep warm, keep safe and enjoy your week, see you soon xxx

What joy to hear Amy singing (after progressing from Twinkle Twinkle in the other video!) but I’m afraid it brought about the need to reach for a hankie as well.
I always was useless at school nativities when my offspring were young.

  24. How sweet is that! Hope you have a lovely peaceful Christmas. All my daughter wanted for Christmas was her son to find his voice that autism stole from him and bless him he started talking again – not totally understandable but his rendition of Twinkle twinkle little star brings a lump to my throat. He also says Mummy again and Manma (which he has called me since he was very tiny) he is nearly 3 and seems to be doing well. hugs to you and yours Vix

  37. Just catching up with your post. thank you to both of you for taking the time to make such a gorgeous video. I hope you & your family had a lovely Christmas.

  38. I know it’s late but I had my family from London and Barcelona for a precious month with us. So I’ve just seen your Christmas video and loved it and loved Amy’s singing even more – so pure and clear. God Bless you and your family in the coming year and may you continue to delight us with your beautiful thoughts, pictures and most of all your needlecrafts. Thank you for sharing.

  39. I’m a little late commenting on your Christmas post :), but just had to say your photos are gorgeous. I particularly love those little muffins with the animal decorations. Incredibly cute!
Love the crocheted blanket you have further up your blog as well. The colors are lovely. My grandmother always crocheted, but I never bothered to learn. I always wish I had!
    Lovely blog, btw.

  40. How very cute!!! I never get my bunnyheads in such a lovely shape as you do. Is there a secret or just patience and trying over and over again when stuffing? Of course, in the meantime you have made so many you probably don’t have to “try again” anymore. 😀 I admire your creativity and your outlook on life in general. Bestest wishes for you and your family.
