It definitely feels like the start of spring here because now we have all the right ingredients. There is plum blossom…
birdsong…
and a big old bundle of bunnies!
I’m putting the finishing touches to them now so will email my mailing list and update my facebook page as soon as they’re ready.
I do like spring and the feelings of hope and anticipation that it brings along with it. I am hopefully anticipating long summer days with Toby tearing around the garden and exhausting himself so he can sleep all night. As Toby grows bigger our house seems to feel smaller and I think we have a touch of cabin fever after the winter!
A beautiful bunny bouquet! Perfect for early spring. Once again, you’ve inspired me to dust off the knitting needles….! xxx

Oh those first signs of spring!!! Henny Penny noticed the bulbs out in the gardens starting to peak their green little heads out of the dirt. It’s an exciting time of the year.
LOL! I know what you mean about the house feeling small with all of the bodies in it over the winter. There’s something to be said for warmer weather, opening up the windows to let out the stale air and opening up the doors to let out all of the cooped up bodies!
Can’t wait to see your bunnies!!

Aha – not many people have discovered all this bounty yet today. I smile in smug satisfaction. I am convinced that a tiny bit of bunny disappears every time new eyes see them – but I can see almost every single one of them in total. HA! Adorable as usual. What an imagination you have – inexhaustible. And I never tire of the beauty of your work, the control, the shape, the graphic satisfaction. You caught the bird in mid-warble. Sometimes I wish I could change into a little bird for just s few minutes flight – but it wouldn’t be safe around here; too many hawks and eagles (do eagles bother little birds?) And I could never be a bunny with these two crazy dogs around. But I still might blossom –
Here’s to wearing out children so they will sleep! HEAR! HEAR!

As usual, a yummy, scrummy basket of bunnies. Doesn’t this weather uplift you? I feel I can cope with B squared, reviews, reports, IEP’s……. I’d rather be coping in the garden though! Oh well, my ‘weekend’ has started now, so here’s to chasing oscar (grandson 1) around the garden tomorrow

It has been a glorious spring day hasn’t it. Mine has been full of the music of church bells – visiting bell ringers have been delighting the ear all day – and the smells of wood smoke and cut grass. But it was sadly lacking in bunnies, until now! They are gorgeous Julie, as always 😀

What a splendid bunch of bunnies. Whilst I am busy stitching linen rabbits I am overjoyed to return to your little treasures. I don’t comment often but my visits to your space fill me with joy.
I can only imagine the cabin fever you must be enduring. I know with my children I am happy we can start going out for proper long walks again. The garden in spring just adds a precious extension to the house, doesn’t it?

Julie- the bunnies are gorgeous as usual. Thanks so much for sharing them with us all. Whenever I see anyting what you create it puts a smile on my face and in my heart. Thanks as always for the continuing inspiration you give. As I have stated in the past I am a knitter and have as yet to take up the “hook” with any seriousness. But your Granny sqaure afghan spurred me on to make an afghan of my own- have a look if you like on my blog. In one of my previous postings I talk of how your granny afghan inspired me. I loved the colour choices you made in your blanket- they are such happy colours. Thanks again Julie for choosing to share your story and your craft for all of us to enjoy- I appreciate it more than I can say.
