This has been one of those whirlwind weeks when it seems like there weren't enough days between monday and friday. So I'm making the most of the last peaceful hour before school pick-up by savouring some quiet knitting in the afternoon sun and listening to Chill.
I'm hoping the weekend days will last a little longer than this week and that there's a cup of tea in bed on the menu! Have a lovely weekend where you are.
That looks idyllic and very welcoming – enjoy

I crave that 5 min. peace too. Have you seen the children’s book of the same title? It’s about an elephant family.

What a lovely cosy corner you have, and lucky you to have afternoon sun. It always seems to disappear in the afternoons these days!

Chill won’t let me play – too American. Phooey. I’m not sure I’d recognize peace if it fell on me like a blanket from above. But you would, of course. It lives in you, just waiting for a quiet moment to come out. If I can clean up the dry wall dust today, and relocate all the clothes, maybe I’ll find it at the bottom of the pile. But I slept in my own bed last night. That was very close.

G’day Julie! I think if I had a beautiful spot in my garden like you do, I would definitely be out there relaxing in the lovely sun! I hope you get to have a restful weekend after what sounds like a VERY busy week! I am here playing nursemaid to my husband who is recovering from arthroscopic surgery on both knees, yesterday. All fun and games!XX
