flitting knitting (again)

I've done it again. Got all over excited about new yarns and new colours and ended up in a muddle of unfinished projects.

Waiting for me to get my act together are a little batch of nautical animals,

Nautical

some in bright colours,

Brights

and some new dutch bunnies.

Lops

All of which adds up to rather a lot of things to finish off!

I'm getting there though and will try and have a little update over on etsy soon!

  1. Ahh but what a lovely jumble =) I love the bunny in the top picture, wearing a chunky knit blue jumper. Surely he belongs on a Scottish isle, hee hee
(PS was I really the first to comment?? Woo!)

  4. Dutch bunnies. DUTCH bunnies. So wonderful. All are so wonderful. And as your first commenter said – what a lovely jumble. A tumble of spring creatures, happy, happy. I want to know when I may be eligible again. I’m trying to figure out how many people are in the world, and how many creatures you will have to make before everyone gets one. I’m afraid I will be gone long before my turn comes up again.
You and your happy imagination!! You and your lovely heart!! Hurray!

  6. They all look wonderful although I particularly like the sailor animals! Can’t wait to see the finished articles. I am like you and get too excited and start everything and then I have to calm down and finish my projects.

  8. oooh Foxy Loxy is divine and those stripped leggings, and the dutch bunnies are to die for….will keep my fingers crossed for luck with this batch xx. Such a lovely jumble and such a lot of work. Are they good babies and go to bed quietly or is their lots of giggling! To me they look rather a mischievous lot 🙂

  9. Your Dutch bunnies are just the cutest! I always wanted a real dutch bunny as a child (but wasn’t allowed!) and so couldn’t get enough of Blue Peter in order to see the one they had on the show. This is probably why I now have a unhealthy obsession with double sided sticky tape…..
    Lovely work as always!

But then I scroll down a bit further, just to find the dutch bunnies.
For me, living in the Netherlands, these give me a “I would love to buy one of these” feel.

  16. Your Dutch rabbits made me curious as to what other breeds of rabbits there are, and I found pictures of angora rabbits which I found quite amusing because they look like giant powder puffs hehe! It would be interesting to see your version of an angora rabbit 🙂 Fingers crossed for the draw at 12 ‘o’ clock today!

  23. Dear Julie,
I have been following your blog for a year an so and wanting to ask you a question… maybe I am asking too much but… Would it be possible to have the pattern for the little slippers in your bunnies? I made an attempt to create a bunny for my little boy, so he has one. Now I got a little girl and I would like to knit a little bunny girl for her… but I need the slippers! You could contact me at susgutierrez@gmail.com
