The house is quiet once more, the children are back at school and a day of pottering around with a little knitting time is calling me. Although I'm really relishing the prospect of a little time to myself again we have had a good easter break. The weather has been kind and so lots of our time has been spent outside…
I've cleared a washing backlog
there has been fun with friends
play in the garden
and of course a hunt for the easter bunny on easter sunday.
All the ingredients of a good school break – hope you had a fun one too.
In the lettuces – I should have known! And did you go zorbing?? I’ve always wanted a go at that.

We had a great break too, and the house is horribly quiet today. I feel quite forlorn!
Are you by any chance about on May 12 for a little garden centre action?

Easter is usually one of my favorite times. We used to have another family or two over, hid millions of colorful eggs and have a great hunt. But the children are grown now, and for the moment, too far away for much visiting. And with our life a bit torn up and under reconstruction, I don’t have the heart to dig out even the old joy from the cabinets where it’s all safe from dust, and really pretty much blocked off.
All of that is to say, thank you for charming me with the rabbit in the lettuces. I can use every tiny bit of magic I can find just now.

I’m always so very glad to see a new post from you! I’m glad you’ve had a nice break with, what looks like, a lot of fun activities! Don’t know if you could PAY me to get in one of those balls however ;-)! Glad you have a little “quiet” time now and time to knit and catch up.
Blessings,
Dianne

Wow the ball thing looks like fun! And your garden photos are always inspiring, I’d love to grow more veg but have lots of trees (which are protected) and far too many hungry squirrels to contend with here!
