  1. Happy Easter Julie – hope you H, A & T have a lovely time. If you have a few minutes to yourself (!) and are in the mood, there’s a new bunny story you know where!

  2. Love the eggs! I’ve just been putting up some decorations, sadly it’s pouring down outside and very cold. At least the snow we had earlier in the week has gone now…

The budding trees, the new flowers,
    and birds that sweetly sing,
whisper to me that itโ€™s Easter.

  6. hi julie,
I have just found your website, when looking for mini christmas stockings to knit.
I love fair isle and altho I am a knitter have never been able to accomplis fair isle.
Your site is so sweet and I saw the pictures of your son..so sweet. I am a granny and have a downs syndrome grandchild, who is so wonderful albeit a temper and loves to tease.
I live is USA and have a feeling you do not. Wish you were close by to give instructions. Where I live there is no lovely little shop to instruct those of us who need it.
    Love your sweet little animals…GrandmaDot

  8. Hi Julie, Oh my goodness!! I have made 2 hedgehogs, different sizes, and they are SO DAMN CUTE!!! My little grandson will just love them. It is such a good pattern, and I love the way their little noses turn up!
Any chance of you putting together a book of all your patterns? I guess not, as the bigger animals are so special. I’ve made some of the cupcakes, the hedgehogs and will do the little egg cosies next. I haven’t quite got the stuffing right for the cupcakes yet, but they are getting better.
I hope you all had a lovely Easter. I went up and spent it with my grand babies .. Milliana had her first birthday, so that was special. They are such a joy. Iam going to spend the next two days (we have a long weekend here for Anzac Day) getting my vege garden back in order. It got away on me when I had surgery in December last year, so couldn’t do anything much until the last few weeks.
Your rosewood knitting needles sound gorgeous.
    Take care,
    Lou (Aussie)
