happy mother’s day

Mothers day

Today I've been very lucky, with a cup of tea in bed and lovely cards & pressies to start the day.

Happy Mother's day to all mummys everywhere (especially my own lovely
Mum). I hope you're having a lovely relaxing day!

  1. dog-walking, dishes, hoovering …. hmmm, sounds like a normal Sunday Chez Trash Towers. The fabulous gift bag from Hotel Chocolat is making it all seem so much better.
    H.M.D to you too.

  2. Happy Mothers day! Hubby, Daughter and I have been to his mums place for the most excellent roast lamb and blackberry and apple crumble for pudding. Then they went to the park while I had a knit in peace. Lovely day. X

  3. Happy Mother’s Day, Julie! It doesn’t fall until May here in the States. Having a lovely day here. Nice & sunny in Northern California. We’re off to picnic in the wine country with our BIG DOG, Trace.

  6. For us Yanks, it won’t be till May. Perhaps I should have flown over this weekend, and then gone home – I could’ve gotten 2!!!! Happy day to all who labor over a child in love. It truly is its own reward.

  7. I had a lovely mother’s day breakfast in bed – the children got up at about 6 to bake me a Victoria Sponge cake (the nicest one I’ve ever had too!) and in the absence of jam, had layered it with nutella and whipped cream! The perfect breakfast!!
