We have a lovely tradition in my family for easter where the easter bunny hides eggs in the garden and where ever you find an egg you plant a bulb in its place. It is exciting to see all the beautiful flowers bloom late into spring.

I have some tiny plants on my kitchen window sill, also. Tiny little guys – baby tears, one of them is called. They are thriving, mounding themselves up till they spill over the sides of their little pots. Emerald green is so good against gray.

How lovely to see sign of Spring! Our garden is still under snow, and the bulbs are struggling to show!
Loved your jacket pics. I keep saying I’ll knit something for myself, but with 2 growing grandsons (both 1 year old) and a grand-daughter who thinks she’s a Disney princess, and therefore wants me to make all kinds of pink and sequinned items, I don’t get much chance!

Our days are growing shorter and our nights are becoming crisp and fresh. Children are leaving for school in jumpers but coming home with them in their bags. I love the mild weather of Autumn and can’t wait for it to be with us…but I will miss the warmth of the Summer sun and the hours of daylight we will go without in the Winter. I’m looking forward to seeing your garden grow and your hens dust bathing again!

I have just signed into your blog after viewing your patterns on “Flickr” ? I think…
I have been clicking through SO many that I can’t be sure. But it was your knitted easter eggs 2007? that caught my eye! I don’t know if I knit good enough to accomplish them, but I can try! Hope your wee one is feeling much better now. You will love seeing him better, but miss all that knitting/reading time I am sure! Stay warm until the sun comes out for good and the snow goes away for months!! Bless you!

I was searching for knitted eggs in flickr when I came across you and your lovely eggs! I have knitted these before but they never looked this good. Then I saw your pot of tete’s and knew you must be in the UK by the rain in the background (we’re both in the same county) Even more spooky your wearing the cardi a flickr pal has just knitted and i’m going to try. Sometimes the worlds just so small ๐ Lovely blog too.
