Things that have been making us smile recently…
taking a coach into London with friends to see the spectacular production of Peter Pan
eating the first of our homegrown sweet corn (after first finding the ladybird a new home of course)
making cakes to share with friends (originial inspiration from Domesticali)
day trips to the sunny seaside
I've been so enjoying some precious time with Amy these past two weeks, just a couple of snatched days here and there while Toby has been at summer playschemes or chilling at home with Daddy, but it's been great!
You have sweetcorn growing in your garden??! Now that is so cool! I’m very jealous! I’m new on the blog scene, so hadn’t seen Domesticali’s little cakes before, and they are so cute!!

Lovely collection of pics! Your sweetcorn looks alittle ahead of mine, not quite at the stage to pick it yet.
My daughter would LOVE those cakes! She loves Timmy Time! 🙂

I’m so jealous: our corn has been rather slow here in eastern Canada (late start to summer). By the way, your cupcakes are just so sweet! They’re so cute!

A friend of mine works backstage at Peter Pan so I got to take my daughter (who’s 9) to the press night before it opened. I was thinking it would be lovely for her but I enjoyed it so much! Pure magic!!
