Congratulations Dawn – I hope you enjoy them.

Thanks so much to everyone who took the time to comment on Kerry's gorgeous needles. I think a few of us might have succumbed to what Ali called 'the wanties' and got ourselves some anyway!

I've been out in the garden a lot over the last couple of weeks so there's been more digging than knitting going on here but I do hope to have something knitted to show next week. For now I'll leave you with a picture from the nearly finished egg cosy pattern – more details to follow shortly.

Enjoy the rest of your week, Jx

  1. Julie, that is just darling! I’m coming along really well with my crocheting. I’m still quite duncey but I’m really enjoying it. My knitting is has been halted as the lady that was teaching me as become ill so I’m trying to learn by myself. I never thought that I would love yarn so much…so many choices! You inspire as always!

  2. Darn it I ain’t the winner but I like the idea of using true random number to select the winner… Wish you would do that with the bunnies! Can’t wait to see what you have in store for us! Happy Knitting!!

  6. Ahahahahaha! So sweet!
I was thinking of making some simple egg cosies to adorn a pack of kiwi fruit, to welcome my boyfriend home from New Zealand tomorrow. I think it’s a funny idea, but I’ve decided not to in case he thinks comedy knitted hats for fruit = crazy desire to get married (we all know what men are like)
And yes, my sunflower knitting needles arrived from Pennydog earlier this week =D Happy digging!
