Winners

Materials2

Sorry about the delay in choosing the 5 winners of the cupcake patterns. I had planned to do it yesterday but the day was scuppered when Amy got knocked out in a rather exuberant game of tag at school and had to come home! She’s fine now, just a small bump on the head and a graze on her knee and she’s enjoying the concern of her classmates!

So with Amy all better and back at school and a cup of tea next to me here I’m free to do the draw. The random number thingy came up with the following 5: Melanie, Judy Jones,Sheila Swanson, Grace & Lisa

I’m off to email the patterns to you right now. But before I go I wanted to thank everyone for entering and for all of the kind and lovely comments and also many thanks to everyone who has bought a copy of the pattern – I hope you all really enjoy using it.

  6. Oh dear – I do hope Amy is okay, and no more nasty knocks! You did have many lovely comments – and you are completely deserving of them. Is it wrong to confess to being relieved that I wasn’t chosen? I’m not a knitter and this has saved me… 😀

  7. I can’t believe I have won!! Thank you so much for your wonderful pattern. At last, something that looks so tasty but has no calories. I’m going to keep one on my desk at work for those weak moments!
So glad Amy has recovered from her fall.

  10. I am so excited! I just ordered your pattern and can’t wait to make some up for my little girl for Christmas. She will love them. And I won’t tell her that I made them so I could play with them, too. 🙂

  11. Hi, Julie,
I just last night finished up the cupcake pattern, and it is so cute! My little girl discovered it this morning (I didn’t hide it very well!), and her comment was, “Is this for ME?!”
And then, this morning, I knitted up the free pattern one for stitching onto something. Again, my little girl decided it should be stitched onto her shirt, straight away! (It’s not yet, but will be soon enough.)
Thank you so much for sharing! It was so therapeutic to have the “me” time to do this! I will look forward to many more.

P.S. I’ve favorited your site to my blog. I record all my ‘doings’ on this blog, but lately I’ve been ‘doing’ and not blogging, so am quite behind in appearances.
