Teeny tinies

This week I’ve had a lot of fun making some teeny toys for the little cotton rabbits. So much so that I thought you might like to have a go too.

So I’ve written up a free pattern which you can find here. It’s a bit fiddly and is probably an evening’s work but they are fun to make and at our house they are proving very popular, as you can see…

Honey loves her little bunny – she’s named him Pip and she never goes anywhere without him!

  2. oooh! Thanks so much for the lovely pattern. I have some grey alpaca I purchased directly from the ranch that will make adorable bears and bunnies. Should you ever tire of knitting your little creatures for sale, I do hope you will consider marketing your pattern or writing a book. Thanks again for your generosity.

  3. you are trying to make my eyes go all squinty and odd aren’t you? Either that or my husband has paid you to make my evening’s crafty even more frustrating, right!

  4. How precious are these! I have some stuffed friends at my house that would love to have their own little cotton bunny! I will have to make some of these for them. Thanks so much for the pattern. If you ever do decide to write up your patterns for sale, I will be one of the first ones in line to buy. I am grown but I still LOVE stuffed animals! 🙂

  5. Gasp! How wonderful. Ugh, if only some day I can actually nab one of your toys on auction. Maybe you’ll consider a swap with me in the future?

  6. You are such a talented designer. My daughter is getting married in 3 weeks and I am busy making shawls, a garter, wedding card box and finishing the flower girls dress (which the bride made) and then I am going to make one of your cute little teeny tinies. They are just adorable. Thank’s for the pattern.

You pose your bunny so well…how did you ever get Honey to hold on to Pip? Trying to pose my bunny and photograph her was pretty difficult.

  13. Hi Julie – these are so fabulous – I’ve been wanting to give my rabbits a teddy rabbit to hold for ages – I found some mini ready made rabbits in Michaels (I know I should be shot) but I haven’t used them because they look so un-hand made. Bunny teddies on the way!!!
