a wedding!

It’s still chaos here but the school Easter hols are nearly over and we’re all still smiling (just!)

For a while now I’ve been meaning to share this fabulous creation that was sent to me by Kim. It’s a wedding albumn showing the marriage of Dougie and Blueberry. The detail is breathtaking with each page beautifully composed and it truly is something I will treasure forever along with her previous wonders here and here !

  1. I’ve only just discovered your blog quite recently and I keep returning to take a look at your beautiful handiwork. Last week, I bought a book called ‘Home’ by Anita Kaushal and on page 130 there is a picture of two little cotton rabbits. Are they some of yours? I looked in the index at the end but couldn’t find any mention. I was quite surprised as the handmade bedding on the same page lists the website of the person who made it. Forgive me for mentioning this if it has already been discussed; as I said, I am new!
In February I started a blog myself on downshifting and living well on less. In case that sounds a bit ‘sackcloth and ashes’, there are lots of photos of flowers and cakes – some a bit like your knitted ones! Thought they might cheer you up if the renovation is getting you down. The site is http://www.beingcreative.me.uk. The weather forecast is set to warm up again next week, I believe, so just concentrate your thoughts on all the enjoyment you’ll get from your finished sun room as the weather improves.
