I’ve just had a new batch of moo* cards (I gave all of the first batch away – grudgingly) and s’pose I’ll end up giving these away too (grumbly, grumpy noises). It’s just that they’re just so nice to have, I want to hoard them all to myself!!
Anyway, seeing as I might be giving some of them away I thought I’d experiment and after playing around with some blank card bases and my best handwriting I came up with these:
The moo is removable (I’ve only used one craft mount) and so it can be taken off and cherished!! I’ll be including one of these cards with each of the toys I sell from now on. These will tide me over until I get around to having some proper ones printed!
*moos are little contact cards that you can get printed in batches of 100 from your own photos if you upload them to flickr (which is free to join). They’re not what I call cheap but they are lovely and you can personalise the back. More details here.

nice idea! i’ve never seen anyone do something like this before (and be sure to keep a set for yourself this time!)

They look great Julie. I love enclosing mine in a parcel when I send it off, but I’ve struggled because they’re a bit little to write a note on. I think you’ve hit on a great idea there though.

They’re beautiful – look so professional, hurry up and get more ordered, I’m sure I’m not the only one who would buy some from you (thereby offsetting the cost of the moo cards in the first place!) What a long sentence!

What a splendid idea to include a moo picture card of the toy you are sending to your buyer. Gives it such a nice personal touch. Love it!

I absolutely love your animals. I wish I could knit like that, but as said many times, i start knitting in the round on straight needles and I goof big time.
Heres to many more animals and no dropped stitches!

Those are really cute. Maybe you should have stationary printed up and sell cards with your bunnies, monkeys, foxes and bears on them!

I learned something today. So a moo is not the sound of a cow and moos(e) aren’t reindeer! Lovely idea Julie the moos. I hope to buy a fox one day, I can’t wait to see it finished.
