I can't keep up with the weather at the moment. One minute there's warm sun…
the next cold wind and rain…
I've spent the last few days, putting on warm clothes and taking them off again and Toby has been in and out of the garden like a yo-yo.
Here's hoping for more sun than rain over the weekend, especially for friends who are meeting up – I'll be thinking of you all and looking forward to hearing all about it x
Brilliant planter. Sorry not to meet you tomorrow Julie, maybe another time.

Julie – in September I will be having a little boy with autism in my class (main stream) of 29 Yr 1 children. He has roughly been assessed to be at age 21/2 yrs at the mo. I have started looking for info. to help. I have found your blog and brief notes helpful. If you have any helpful thoughts, would you be prepared to e-mail me? It does not have to be lengthy, but pertinent insight would be appreciated. Apologies if you would rather not. I want to do my best for him. Thanks.

I am longing for a few sunny days, grey and damp again here tho.
I have an old colander with a broken handle and it will be reborn as a planter, thanks for the idea x

What a fantastic planter. This weather is a bit depressing isn’t it? So hard to decide what to wear- hope it evens out soon for us all and we get some sun!

Can I really have been gone this long? I suppose it’s really only a matter of weeks – but still! I could use some of the cold just now – can’t sleep in the dull heat. But looking at your images, again, is such a refreshment. I keep threatening to go to bed. But I’m too tired to try to find my way there.
