happy new year

Just popping in to wish everyone a happy new year.

I've been dipping into memories of 2011 by making a month-by-month mosaic of some of the things that made me happy …

Mosaic of 2011

Mosaic making to start the year has become something of a little tradition for me …

It's good to have something to remember the good bits by (and to gloss over all the bad bits)

Anyway, here's wishing you a very happy, healthy and fulfilling 2012 xxx

  2. Happy New Year Julie! Love your mosaic pictures. Hope the Christmas holiday hasn’t been too stressful for Toby, and that you have somehow managed to balance some normality for Toby with some excitement for Amy. Look forward to seeing your knits in 2012

  3. Best wishes for a happy new year Julie from myself and Colombine, I love her so much and every day still am amazed that she is mine, here with me! Just looking at your mosaics made me realise I haven’t seen anything about your garden or chickens for a long time, how are they going?

  8. Wishes for a Happy New Year to you and your family!! I was so inspired by your rabbits that I’ve tried knitting again. I knew the basics, but nobody taught me about gauge. Yikes! So because of you, I’m typing with a pair of Fingerless mitts, Susies Reading Mitts, from ravelry. It took several tries to get the hang of knitting in the round, but I did it. Thank you for sharing your talents and your life with all of us.

  9. Your mosaics are lovely – a most copiable idea! For those of us with a chronic mental or physical health condition, or taking care of someone else, it is all too easy to forget the very many wonderful moments in the ordinary things of life. May 2012 bring many blessings to you and yours.

  12. Hello! I love your website and your work, you are soooooooo talented! :o) It’s always a joy for my heart to have a look here and see all the beautiful stuff you are making. I havea question about the picture of mittens on one of your mosaics, they are red with white flowers. Where do you have the pattern from, I really like those! Best wishes to the New Year 2012!
