Christmas jigsaw

Where is November going? Has anyone else found that it seems to have had less days than it should have?

I had hoped to do a new calendar design for 2011 but have had to abandon that idea for this year. I’d also hoped to have my little christmas batch of animals ready by now, but at the moment most of them are still waiting for various limbs etc. It’s a bit of a jigsaw puzzle working out which legs to put with which head and then which dress or jumper suits them best.

I’m determind though to get them all done by the end of this week, so I had better go and get on with it! Will email the mailing list with details soon (I hope!) and in the meantime best wishes for a Happy Thanksgiving to all of my friends in the USA.

  3. Tell me about it! I can’t believe there’s only a month left until Christmas! A very cute festive collection of bunnies and other fuzzy critters there too by the way. I’m sure they’ll all be going to very loving homes very soon…

  5. It’s like an early Christmas present just to see a preview of your darling animals. Can’t wait to see them finished and I can only dream to actually own one.

  6. That is the sweetest jumble of little arms and legs and heads I’ve ever seen. I so hope I will be one of the lucky ones that’s able to purchase one of them. Thanks for the Thanksgiving greeting. I am thankful for your blog.

  7. your little jumble of woolly friends made me smile. They are very sweet even half done. Good luck with all your ‘jobs to do’. I wonder if I shall ever have a Christmas that is organised and non’frantic? Doubt it.

  9. What a gorgeous jumble of limbs! I’ll be keeping fingers and eyes crossed, hoping that at last I’ll be able to buy one of your beautiful animals. I always seem to be at school when they go on sale! November’s missed a couple of weeks I’m sure. I’m deep into Nativity plays. Shed a few tears yesterday when I was playing the piano for one of the Senior classes of autistic/ADHD students to sing to. They were amazing

  12. Goodness! Whenever I visit your website of little knitted friends it always leaves me smiling – even when they are in pieces. It must be amazing to live amidst them and choose their special names – but hard to send them off to homes far away.
