  1. What a cute name for those mitts – Bird in hand:) Love the way the mitts have been photographed for the pattern too!! Lovely colours of wool you’ve chosen. Look forward to seeing yours when they’re done! You seem to be a very speedy knitter – I’m really slow!

  6. Thanks Pip. I have to say though that you have some pretty gorgeous yarns for gloves on your site – I love the Zauberball gauntlet kits – will be asking Father Christmas for one of those I think!

  7. Great Scott, that yarn is gorgeous. Funny, to call the red “tart,” – well, sort of funny. Really, though, that red looks like it would be literally tart if you could taste it. What an amazing color. I would never buy it for myself – for shame; it would be wasted on a person of my – um- talent. But it is entirely suitable for you. I sigh at the rightness of it.

  8. It does have a nice color. Everything now days seem to be more expensive but, I think that we need to treat ourselves to some things that will be used, not just looked at.

  9. That beautirful, cranberry-ish colour has made my mouth water. How gorgeous. Do you plan some Scandinavian-style wintry fair isle to rival your animals’ jumpers?

  12. reading the above comment from HEather rings true. I go through phases of knitting and when i get stuck in i just love it. My mother in law owns a wool shop and it is the lovliest place as they have a sofa, make you coffee and encourage you to just sit and knit. Loving the colours of your yarns. Happy knitting xxx
