Making us smile in the last week…
:: Some gorgeous new pillows from the very talented Carolyn at Laughing Duck
and look who snuck in on my photo shoot!
(Carolyn, I did iron the covers but as you can see someone has taken a real liking to the pillows and keeps smooshing them again!)
:: more jam making – this time with plums from the garden
:: camp outs in the garden!
Hope your week has brought you smiles wherever you are!

The good thing about a smooshed pillow lies in the very satisfying plumping that follows! I love that floral tent. Love it to bits!

In a world where there are too many…. well you know if you have read any newspaper this weekend, it is so uplifting to visit here. It’s like a visit to a wonderful sacred church. I holds me. It is so edifying. There should be more worlds like Julie’s.

I have been following your blog now for about a year. I am so impressed with your talent and your love for your children. I have a grandson with hydrocephalus and I admire your patience with your son. You have inspired me to try my hand at knitting animals. I knit, draw, paint and do all kinds of crafts. Thanks for your inspiration.

My girls did this for a whole week this summer. They looked just (!) like that, too. Sacked out cold 😉 It was also fun for them to spend the day out there reading to each other. Lovely.
