We’ve had quite a fun half term break with much excitement at the snow that arrived on wednesday and the spooky goings-on that halloween brought on friday. I’m glad to get back to term-time routines though. I found myself flagging at the end of the week and my good humour drained by the mopping up of too many wee puddles (toilet training for Toby is still very much a work in progress and when I’m able to laugh about it I’ll write more about our adventures!)
So it’s back to the familiar and comforting routines made all the more fun by walking to school through the fallen leaves in the early morning autumn sunshine.
I do like this time of year!

Oh I do love autumn 🙂 Wonderful pictures! Hope everyone had a happy halloween 🙂

Blimey, it got a bit chilly and damp round about Friday/Saturday though, didn’t it? :-O
Glad you had a good(ish) half term. My son has a friend with Asperger’s and he struggled with toilet training too … but he got there in the end. Hang on in there. x

Glad to see you back, Julie. Love the school shoes. We used to have TUF ones with animal prints on the bottom and I think the boys ones had a compass in the heel.

The glimmer of sanity after half term was extinguished by an ill Johnny this morning. Rats.

Hi good luck with the toilet training, my son is autistic and it took us along time and we had to try lots of different ways to find out what worked for him. Have a lovely week, Alex x

Lovely leafy pictures – we’re a bit paranoid of fallen leaves there since we discovered some thoughtful horse owener had trekked down a paved footpath in the village, left a huge deposit and it then was covered up with leaves … Still, could have been worse!

Sounds as though you made it through the week without going to see High School Musical, though. Surely not?!
(PS, I went with my friends on Friday (we’re 23) and we thought it was brilliant, hee hee)

I still delight in kicking through autumn leaves! What a perfect start to anyone’s day. You’re an amazing lady, Julie, but I hope things ease a little for you now that term has started again.

It’s my favorite time of year. But, I think today marks the end of it here in Alberta. It’s snowing. Sad day. I love the snow too, but I’m just not ready to give up on Autumn yet. So, I wanted to invite you to my quilt giveaway it’s posted on my blog.

Atleast you’ve moved on to toilet training. Ted is showing no interest whatsoever and is creeping ever closer to 3 sigh.
