Happy Mother’s day

Mothersday_2

To all the mums out there (especially my own special mum). I hope your day started out with breakfast in bed, followed by kisses, cuddles and cards and is filled with peace and relaxation.

  1. Thank you! This is a lovely painting.
My son is grown up now but he’ll phone me here in France from London. A man of few words but we’re very close. He sent me an adorable card and that’s enough for me.
I love to remember the years when he was as small as this little fellow. The memories never go away.

  3. Happy Mother’s Day Julie! So funny, i never even thought that Mother’s Day might be on a different day than when we have it in the States…thought it was the same all over! I hope you have a wonderful day, enjoy your kiddos and take good care of yourself!

  4. Happy Mother’s Day to you! I just found your sit this morning and I’m awestruck. Your toys are the most beautiful knits I’ve ever seen and the egg pattern, the stocking pattern – wow! It’s all so beautiful. You have an amazing gift and a gorgeous site.

  5. Oh Julie – This picture took me back – I had completely forgotten it – and as soon as I saw the little boys face I remembered the ball like plaster with the strips. I must have had this book as a child – I was a 1969 baby.
    How wonderful
