I’ve hit the small time!

Firstly, thanks SO much for all of the wonderful comments on the 100th post, I am chuffed to bits and a little flabbergasted that there are so many people who visit here!

I’m also chuffed to bits that I’ve just had a mention in SMALL which is a fab on-line magazine:

"Small is a magazine of creative work on a small scale and for the small
sized. Although primarily for children’s products and designs it is
also about small-scale productions. We are looking for people that are
interested in play, children, childhood and the child within and who
produce high quality work and independent products and design on a
small-scale."

It’s definitely worth a look as they have great recipies, ideas, fashion, books and in this issue a link to some brilliant free furniture you can make with your kids. And my rabbit is in very good company too, if you get a chance pop over and take a look!

I don’t have any finished toys to show you at the moment, so I’ll show you a ‘before’ shot of some bunnies hopefully the ‘after’ picture will follow soon!

The competition will stay open until Sunday, so leave a comment on the previous post if you want to enter. We’ll draw the winner on monday after school and I’ll post about it on tuesday.

Have a great weekend everyone!

  3. It is true that what may seem a simple little cotton rabbit to you can indeed represent a small bundle of cheer and joy to another. It’s great that you have such a humble spirit about your lovely creations and yet it is hopefully an encouragement to hear how you touch others.

  4. Wow, congrats again, what a fab week you’re having! And what a marvellously surreal page of bunnies! (Apart from that one with the eye is a tad scary). And thanks so much for your comment …. with all you’ve got on too. You’re a star 😉

  5. Your little creatures are just so lovely! I read your frequently asked questions and appreciated so much your priorities.
My dad, who knows what it is like to be a mother because he has always been the primary caregiver to my severely brain damaged brother (accident at his birth)once told me that it is possible to have it all, but maybe it is not possible to have it all at once… happiness comes when you can realize what is most important and put that first.
Best Wishes to you.. I love your beautiful blog. 🙂

  6. Wow your still getting comments for your giveaway, how cool is that. Just a quick one to say the sublime wool is just lovely, I knitted with it the other week and it is a soft, gentle and tactile fabric once knitted up. Looking forward to seeing the end product.

  11. Congratulations on reaching 100. I’m still in single figures with my blog. I must be a bit backward as I’ve only just discovered what all this blog fuss is about. I can’t imagine reaching 100. Will I get a telegram from the Queen? Were there times when you didn’t feel like blogging every day and what did you do about it if you felt like that?
