Rosie Cosie

The onset of Spring brings thoughts of Easter and choccie eggs. So I thought I’d design an egg cosy for boiled eggs if you’re so inclined or chocolate ones if (like me) you prefer!

I hope to have a few of these for sale the next time the shop goes live.

  1. Very nice Julie. I know 2 children that would love these – do you need to add me to your mailing list or something? =)

  2. This egg cosy is so sweet Julie. What a good idea. How about cup cake corsages? I would love one with those pastel shades and pretty beading.

  3. Stop stop stop! Isabel will definitely want to add one of these to her rabbit collection. She has just discovered the joys of “dippy eggs” and would be in seventh heaven if a smart rabbit sat on top. Please, please, please let me know when one might be available! Thanks.
P.S. Little Green Rabbit has been all the way to Switzerland and back this week. Plenty of fun in the snow. Not sure if I have any pictures but will send them if I do.

  4. Hello crafter friend!
Is it at all possible to have the pattern of your rabbit egg cosy :Rosie Posie? It is soley for personal use and not for re-sale. I would so love to make it for my little grandson. I could give you a chicken egg- cosy pattern in exchange that was given to me by my mother!
    Thank you for replying. Sandra

  5. My wife knits to raise money for our local Hospice. For the past few years she has knitted chichen egg cosies and helped to raise many thousands of pounds. She is wondering if she could have your Rosie Posie pattern to use to change the theme for next year. I know it is a cheeck to ask, but it would help a good cause.

  7. I’ve finished my egg cosy and given it to the lovely man who is really pleased with it. I had a bit of trouble in making it up – getting his head in the right place was difficult and he appears to be looking up [but shouldn’t we all?]. Any advice on that? He is called Edmund and is soon to have a friend so he’s not lonely.
